There's something about being high enough to watch clouds behave like living things. I remember standing in the mountains of Gran Canaria, surrounded by this movement I'd never seen from below. The clouds weren't floating above me but sweeping through everything, carving through valleys, threading between trees. They moved with such purpose, rolling over the ridges in layers of white and grey against the soft green slopes.
What struck me most was the solitude of it. This happens whether anyone watches or not. The clouds cutting through the forest, the mountains half-revealed, half-hidden. The blue sky above holding it all in place. It's a rhythm you only encounter at elevation, where weather becomes something tactile and close. I wanted to capture that feeling of watching something immense and quiet unfold, the kind of moment that reminds you how much happens beyond our usual line of sight.
