The clouds weren't floating above me but sweeping through everything, carving through valleys, threading between trees. They moved with such purpose, rolling over the ridges in layers of white and grey against the soft green slopes.
What struck me most was the solitude of it. This happens whether anyone watches or not. The clouds cutting through the forest, the mountains half-revealed, half-hidden.
