This image lives in that strange space between recognition and abstraction. I was on a plane and I let the camera take its time seeing. What emerged are these horizontal drifts of color: beige settling into blue, orange bleeding into yellow, all of it suspended in a quiet you can almost feel. There's no ground here, no fixed point. Just layers that refuse to resolve into a single thing. I love how the eye keeps searching for something to hold onto and finds only gradation, only this gentle movement from warm to cool. It gives you room to get lost. The reduction feels like freedom to me, that above-the-clouds openness where nothing is defined and everything floats. You're looking at sky, at motion, at time itself stretching out. Or maybe you're not looking at any of those things. Maybe it's just color and light doing what they do when you stop asking them to be specific.

The painterly effect comes from allowing the camera to capture motion over time during flight (long exposure), blurring clouds and sky into soft horizontal layers that feel more like watercolor than photography.

What is your return policy?
