Neutral abstract wall art of Lisbon's bridgework in layers
There's an honesty to bridges that drew me in: all that engineering laid bare, the elegant mathematics of weight and balance made visible. In Lisbon, I found arches and supports that seemed to want conversation with each other. By layering multiple moments into one frame, I let the bridge echo itself, repeating its own language of curves and verticals until the rigid became fluid. What emerged surprised me. Those beiges and greys, the muted browns of weathered stone, they hold a quietness I hadn't anticipated. The geometry fragments and reassembles, pattern upon pattern, until you're no longer certain where one arch ends and another begins. I think of it as catching the bridge in motion, though of course it never moved. What shifted was my seeing, and now perhaps yours. The structure remains strong, but something in the overlapping makes it breathe.

Where to place the Ponte print in your home
Ponte belongs where the eye has time: above a sofa, in an office, along a corridor. The overlapping arches give the eye a pattern to trace mid-thought and never quite finish.
How Ponte was made
The bridge repeats and overlaps with itself through layered exposures (multiple exposure), fragmenting solid arches into fluid, breathing patterns. Structure remains recognizable while geometry dissolves and reassembles across the frame.

Are the prints signed?
Prints are generally not signed. Signing is possible on request and can be discussed individually. Please note that this may affect production time and, in some cases, the overall cost.
How long does it take to receive a print?
Prints are made to order through reliable print partners in different regions. Production and delivery usually take two to four weeks, depending on the format and your location. If timing matters for a specific situation, get in touch and I'll do my best to help.
What is your return policy?
Since prints are produced individually and made to order, returns are not usually possible. However, if there is a production issue or damage during shipping, I will make sure it's resolved. If something doesn't feel right, please reach out and we'll take it from there.
